Vadym Kholodenko: Pianist's Estranged Wife Charged With Murder Of Their Two Daughters

Pianist Vadym Kholodenko's estranged wife has been charged with killing the couple's two daughters in Fort Worth, Texas, Reuters reported on Monday, March 21, citing law enforcement.

Sofya Tsygankova was charged with two counts of capital murder and is being held on a $2 million bond. The couple's daughters, Nika, five, and Michela, one, were found dead in their rooms by Kholodenko a few days earlier on Thursday.

"We have probable cause, reason to believe, that she committed the homicides," Benbrook police commander David Babcock told reporters at a news conference on Monday.

Tsygankova, 31, suffered "what appeared to be self-inflicted stab wounds" in the incident and is undergoing a mental health evaluation.

According to Fox News, Kholodenko's estranged wife sought mental treatment the day before their two young daughters were found dead.

Kholodenko, 29, who is half American, is an award-winning Ukrainian pianist.

Kholodenko won the 14th prestigious Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in Fort Worth in 2013, beating nearly 30 finalists from 12 countries.

The couple were married in 2010 and filed for divorce last year. Kholodenko no longer lived at the home with Tsygankova and their daughters, but routinely picked up the children from the home in the mornings.

The girls were buried Monday at a private service and a memorial service was scheduled for Tuesday night.

"The loss of my children will be with me forever," Kholodenko said in a statement on Friday. "Wherever I go after this tragedy, my heart will stay with all the people here of Fort Worth and my daughters will rest in this soil."

Miesha Tate Ain't Ever Gonna Be Friends With Rival Ronda Rousey, UFC Champ Just Wants To Fight

After Miesha Tate took on Holly Holm during UFC 196, bagging the Women’s Bantamweight championship, she revealed in a recent interview that she can't wait to fight Ronda Rousey but expressed her unwillingness to be friends with her.

After being asked if she sees herself in the future being friends with Ronda Rousey, the new champion answered “hell no.” She even added that there won’t be anything missing in her life by not being chummy with her MMA rival.

She said, however, that she has a lot of respect for the Furious 7 star when it comes to her skills inside the ring. Yet Tate continued that she has no desire to be connected to Rousey even after their careers have ended.

The current champion added that she would like to have a match with the former Olympic bronze medalist soon. UFC President Dana White said in a statement that Ronda Rousey could start fighting again by October or November. However, Miesha Tate said that she wants to fight sooner than November.

Meanwhile, Holly Holm reportedly wants to avenge her loss from Miesha Tate but would still want to a rematch with Ronda Rousey.

The fight between Miesha Tate and Holly Holm was dubbed as one of the biggest upsets in UFC history. This was after Holm's epic kick to the head left Rousey knocked out cold during UFC 193.

The current UFC women’s champion has lost to the once-undefeated Ronda Rousey twice now. However, with her victory over Holly Holm, Tate is eager to do battle Ronda Rousey for a third time.

It’s been reported that The Expendables actress would not do a rematch with Holly Holm in UFC 200 due to an upcoming movie role, but Rousey's priorities may have changed now that Miesha Tate is the titleholder.

Gwen Stefani Flirts With 'Super Babe' Blake Shelton On 'The Voice'

Gwen Stefani made an appearance on The Voice on Monday to help Blake Shelton guide his team, and the two could not get enough of each other.

The couple got flirty on the set with Stefani calling her beau “super babe” in a newly released outtake video from The Voice.

The country crooner commented on his girlfriend’s high ponytail saying, “You kind of have that I Dream Of Jeanie hair going.” Stefani thanked Shelton for the cute remark and complimented him in return. “You kind of have that super babe thing going right now.”

Making sure that the cameras captured their adorable banter, Gwen Stefani turned to the cameramen and asked “you got that?”

Shelton introduced Stefani to his team as “the great Gwen Stefani.”

“Blake wanted to bring in an expert to help you guys, so he called me,” Stefani told Adam Wakefield and Jared Harder, the first two competitors on his team.

“A country music expert,” the country musician said. Gwen Stefani assured her beau that “she is getting there,” because she “loved working outside of my lane,” referring to their collaboration on Shelton’s 12th studio album If I’m Honest.

“Also, she's hot,” Shelton admitted during their mentor/adviser meeting which was not aired.

The happy couple’s PDA continued even outside the set of the hit singing competition as both singers went on a vacation together earlier this week. Despite their crazy schedules, the pair found time to be with Stefani’s youngest son. The songstress recently posted a Snapchat video of Shelton on a hike with her 2-year-old son Apollo. Her two older sons are, 7-year-old Zuma and 9-year-old Kingston who she also spends a lot of time bonding with.

Gwen Stefani recently released her new album entitled This is What the Truth Feels Like.  The album, according to Stefani, is inspired by her divorce from Gavin Rossdale and her newfound love affair with The Voice co-host Blake Shelton.
